Glam gran who dated sport icon earlier than sudden loss of life begins surprising new profession
A grandmother who banked £40,000 after creating an AI version of herself that is half her age is embarking on yet another new career.
Gina Stewart – famous for being the ‘world’s hottest gran’ – has made so much money from her digital clone that she is now following her childhood dream.
The move comes two years since she exclusively revealed to the Daily Star that she was heartbroken after secretly dating fellow Aussie Shane Warne before his shock heart attack.

And the ageless beauty is now putting her emotions and life experiences into pop music, having just released a handful of songs on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
Speaking to the Daily Star about the surprising move, she told us: “It is the first thing I wanted to do since I was a little girl – write my own songs and music. I love writing, having always put my thoughts and ideas to paper.”
And asked how far she wanted to take it, she added: “I have no expectations and I am realistic. It’s very hard to break into the music scene and become a raging success. It all depends really if my songs get air time on radio and if people like them.
“They are pretty catchy and Queen had an impossible time to get Bohemian Rhapsody even played at first.”
Gina, who is from the Gold Coast, is releasing each song individually before releasing an entire album – which she so far has eight songs prepped for.
The 53-year-old only became famous in recent years – but has rarely been out of the news since entering a Maxim modelling competition in 2019.
She did so to raise funds for a pal who suffered a stroke and this led to her being named on the Maxim Australia Hot 100 list that year.
But it was in August 2022 when she went viral after a bombshell chat with this publication, where she opened up about her secret fling with bowler Shane Warne, who died aged 52 after a heart attack in Thailand.
Speaking about it for the first time, the model told us: “I have been devastated over the last few months. The world lost a legend and I lost a friend and confidante. The unthinkable happened. I was dating Shane but it wasn’t well-known. He wanted to keep it personal.”
Instagram messages, seen by this publication, indicate that the pair met for the first time in November 2018.
After the encounter, Gina messaged Warne, saying: “I hope you are sleeping right now I just wanted to say thank you so much I really enjoyed your company. I’m so glad I met you.”
Remembering their time together, she said: “He arrived on the Gold Coast and I met him after a cricket game. We hit it off straight away and spent the whole night talking and getting to know each other.
“I found him extremely interesting and I loved hearing about his life and what made him tick. We became extremely close and I made a promise to him that I would keep our story out of the public eye. At the time I had to be careful of the paparazzi as I had a publication trying to photograph me a lot where I lived.
“Shane and I would wear hats and sunglasses just to go out and we became creative on the Gold Coast and later Melbourne when I visited.”
And referring to the private nature of their alleged courtship, Gina added: “Shane was very unimpressed by the media and he did not want the story to get out so I had to decline offers and keep everything a secret.”
Despite the heartache, Gina has thrived in her personal life in recent times, after her 28-year-old clone earned her fortunes on a subscription site called Fanvue.
She said her venture into the music industry was another way for her to “achieve something that seems impossible” but said it won’t threaten her modelling opportunities.
“This won’t replace my modelling,” she told us. “It all goes hand in hand with all the other things I do. I see modelling, photography and AI as creativity and song writing is just one aspect of that expression.”
