Conor McGregor goes to conflict with boob-obsessed Guinness group calling for change

Infamous UFC star Conor McGregor has gone to war with a Facebook page known for posting images of Guinness and women’s bodies.

The former Featherweight and Lightweight Champion has recently launched his own Irish stout, called Forged, and has seemingly identified the Guinness Community as a crop ripe for harvest. The group has gained infamy recently for the ever-shrinking role of Guinness in the content, with one post even leaving fans saying things were “getting out of hand” when one member of the group didn’t even post a beer, only an image of a woman crouching down.

McGregor and his team have seemingly identified an opening to strike launching a barrage of posts about Forged, framing it as superior to the Black Stuff and even attacking the behemoth’s founder, Arthur Guinness.

The most astonishing part is that it seems to be working. A rift has appeared in the massive group, which boasts over 365k members at the time of writing, with some members posting pictures of the new disruptor brand’s beers, seemingly having bought some rather than Guinness.

One lad posted a meal deal and a four-pack of Forged, while another shared a picture showing a shopping trolly filled with 10 cases of the Dublin-based drink with the caption “just need a glass now”. To the latter, McGregor’s official Facebook account replied: “Proper stocked up! FORGED ARMY”.

In response to the caption, one of the Guinness-loyal replied: “Or a bin!”

“Just had a can for first time… overrated, not so keen on it,” another said. The picture of the trolly full is just the latest in a long line of posts and activity that has seen McGregor try to win new customers. The success has seemingly made some people resigned to the relentless posting from the Irishman. “Admin, rename the group,” one person commented.

McGregor’s not won everyone around yet though. Various memes have appeared, showing him celebrating after coming 11th.

One person said: “The Forged marketing team have identified that this is a group of 300k, 90% are desperate virgins or completely stupid

“They’ve then decided to spam knowing that those mentioned above will absolutely fall into the trap.

“Fair play to the team. They absolutely know how to market! Oh and BTW for those knocking one out thinking Conor McGregor has responded to them……. psssstttt…… it’s not him”.

McGregor it seems, or at least his team, are not slowing down in the group just yet. One post from them read: “Flying at Asda!!! We have the much nicer taste from the can! FACT! Forged Irish Stout”.

“There’s a new king in town, move over Guinness, you’ve been usurped,” one of his new acolytes added.

Who will win this epic battle of the stouts? It’s anybody’s guess at this point.
