‘Dog-sized’ seagull thrown out of kebab store as revellers scream in terror

A bloke has been branded a “legend” after he nabbed a “dog-sized” seagull by the tail and chucked it out of a kebab shop, leaving punters absolutely petrified.

Jacob Watson and his mates were looking for some late-night grub in Swansea, Wales, at 3am on Sunday (June 9) when a gigantic bird swooped in, eyeing up some cheeky leftovers.

In a side-splitting clip shot by his mate Jakob White, aged 30, we see Jacob, 29, legging it after the pesky gull around the eatery as other diners shrieked and dashed for cover.

The contracts manager is spotted nonchalantly seizing the feathered intruder by its tail, flinging open the kebab shop’s door and hurling the bird back into the wild, all while sporting a cheeky smirk.

While his pal kept the camera rolling, the rest of the gang are in stitches, cracking up over Jacob’s wild antics.

The TikTok video has since gone viral, racking up over a million views, with netizens saluting him as a “hero,” and some even reckon the chicken spot should dish out free chips for life as a reward.

Jacob, hailing from Longwell Green, Bristol, recounted: “At about 3am we all fancied some chicken and then the seagull flew in and started causing carnage.

“Everyone ran out and I just started chasing it around the chicken shop. I think the seagull wanted some chicken wings and chips.

“I just thought I’d chase it around as it would be funny. I didn’t really think about it.

“The poor woman with the burger (in the kebab shop) was so scared and ran out.

“People in the comments mentioned that I should get free food but I was already stuffed with chicken and chips at this point so I didn’t even go back in.

“I just lobbed the seagull out and then I was chatting to the couple in there and the poor woman with her burger. They said ‘well done’ and that was it.

“A lot of comments said I was a hero for picking up the seagull but my other half has said I need to get off my perch.”

Jacob and Jakob had been on a lads’ golfing trip in Swansea for the weekend with 12 of their friends and had spent the night clubbing.

Jakob says he was in tears while filming the video and can’t believe how popular it has become online.

Jakob, also from Bristol, said: “It (the seagull) was massive and like the size of his leg. I’d say it was the size of a small dog especially with the wingspan.

“Everyone was just very drunk and found it very funny and he just threw it out. I was in tears at this point.”
