England players were put through their final full training session ahead of their opening Euro 2024 match against Serbia in Gelsenkirchen on Sunday.

All 26 players of Gareth Southgate‘s squad trained in the sunshine-drenched Blankenhain resort where the Three Lions have based themselves for the duration of the competition.

England stars looked to be in great spirits as they were put through their paces, with Jude Bellingham and Trent Alexander-Arnold beaming while completing various drills.

Meanwhile, Southgate and his coaching team maintained relatively steely faces as they look ahead to getting off to a winning start in their opening Group C contest.

The best news for England supporters is there are no injury concerns heading into Sunday’s match after defender John Stones previously missed a training session through illness earlier in the week.

Players were put through a mixture of attacking, defensive, and possession-based routines during the intense final session.

England captain and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane was seen leading various drills, but looked calm and relieved during the majority of training.

There was further excitement on the faces of Stones, Anthony Gordon and Marc Guehi as every player was seen working hard in an effort to secure a starting spot.

Participants adopted a mixture of yellow and red bibs, while others only wore training tops as Southgate looks to keep a lid on any possible team selection leaks.

Alexander-Arnold has been spotted working closely with Real Madrid superstar Bellingham throughout England’s training camp and continued to do as he targets a spot in midfield against Serbia.

Southgate will also have to make tough decisions on the playing time of several youngsters with Man United’s Kobbie Mainoo and Crystal Palace playmaker Adam Wharton both appearing at a major competition for the first time.

Mainoo has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Old Trafford and looked at ease he worked on a rabona training drill alongside Ivan Toney, Lewis Dunk and Liverpool’s Joe Gomez.

Meanwhile, Chelsea duo Cole Palmer and Conor Gallagher looked to be enjoying each other’s company as they remained side-by-side for parts of Saturday’s training session.
