Lip reader shares Prince Louis’ savage two-word reply to Charlotte’s teling off
Princess Charlotte tried to tell off her younger brother, Prince Louis, as he danced along to music at Trooping the Colour – but he had a very cheeky reply.
Kate Middleton and Prince William were accompanied by their three children on the famous Buckingham Palace balcony today (Saturday, June 15). But before they were joined by their father, Kate could be seen whispering in Charlotte’s ear as the family watched the band play.
A delighted Louis danced along to the march of the Scots Guards to Highland Laddie. However, his older sister was not happy and tried to keep him in line, lip reader Nicola Hickling told The Mirror.

She told the Mirror Charlotte appeared to say: “You have to stop doing that. Watch the parade,” to which Louis replied: “I won’t.”
Charlotte then responded: “Do as you’re told,” but Louis retorted: “Nope.”
Kate had her hands full when Louis later got distracted on the balcony. The Wales’ cheeky youngest son seemed to tug on the blind cords as the future Queen watched on, staying close.
He was later seen yawning as he watched the parade from the window at the Duke of Wellington’s former office before dancing through the rest of the show.
Today marks King Charles’ second official birthday since coming to the throne – and the first since he was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. The monarch revealed the health issue had been discovered after he underwent a procedure to treat an enlarged prostate.
He pulled back from official duties in response to the news, but in recent weeks has been seen in the limelight more. Conversely Kate Middleton, who was also diagnosed with cancer this year, had not been seen at an public engagements for nearly six months until today.
The Princess of Wales is understood to be doing well but is “not out of the woods yet” and is still receiving preventative chemotherapy.
