Matt Le Tissier’s daughter-in-law might have to go away house after vile fan threats

The daughter-in-law of Matt Le Tissier has considered moving her family out of Southampton – after receiving vile threats.

Alex Le Tissier, 32, admitted to being fearful of her safety after being told by football yobs she would have her “bones broken” if she kept going to watch the Saints play live.

She is a life-long supporter of the club but caused tension within the fanbase when she had a public feud with her husband’s famous dad.

The model, who grew up in Guernsey, claimed legendary ex-footballer Le Tiss called her a “bad mum” and asked her to drop her surname after she turned to the adult industry to help feed her four kids.

And in recent times Alex, who has been open about the rancid abuse she gets on social media, has been targeted in public too.

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Star, she said: “I used to get trolled online but now it’s come into my personal life. I have had things shouted at me from cars and it has always been men. I’ve had ‘Le Tissier slag’ and ‘you’re ruining our club’ shouted at me.”

The mum, who is finally debt free, added: “I do get worried about someone unstable attacking me in public. I have had threats from Southampton fans in the past like ‘we will break your bones if you keep coming to games’.

“But luckily nothing has happened as of yet but I don’t really go out to clubs or bars around Southampton because of this.

“Sometimes I feel like I should move out of Southampton but I like it here and I don’t want to give in to the people who abuse me.”

Despite the unpleasant experiences, some members of the public have approached Alex to offer kind words. She has also been asked for selfies by staff in the Southampton merchandise store and has even been been stopped by a fan on the school run.

Laughing, she added: “That was awkward for me as my son was with me and asked why I had fans!”

Alex became a public figure during the pandemic after turning to the sex industry to help feed her family after they got into debt. At the time they were considering using food banks but Alex went on to get a job at Babestation.

Her husband, who she is now in an open relationship with, also spoke with this publication about his own struggles, saying he would be ‘dead’ if it was not for Alex’s modelling success.

And asked how she would feel if they did end up leaving Southampton, she concluded: “I’d be really upset. It’s hard because parents keep weirdly telling their under age children about my job which is super irresponsible and just plain sick.

“So I have teenagers shouting ‘queen of Southampton’ at me in the local park and it is late at night and I just don’t feel 100% safe at all times anymore.

“I never really thought this many people around Southampton would find out about me and what I do but you have got to be careful with what you wish for I suppose.”
