Jude Law’s son Rafferty seems identical to dad at The Bikeriders premiere

Rafferty Law bore a striking resemblance to his famous father Jude at The Bikeriders premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday night. 

The actor, 27, looked as if he had raided his dad’s wardrobe and bathroom cupboard he rocked up in a loose-fitting pinstripe suit and slicked back hair. 

Jude, 57, cemented his status as one of Hollywood’s biggest heartthrobs back in the nineties with The Talented Mr Ripley, before his hit role in rom-com The Holiday in 2006 made fans swoon even more. 

And it seems Rafferty has been inspired by his father’s iconic style as he continues to boost his acting profile, with the screening being the latest in a string of public appearances. 

The actor slathered his blond highlighted hair with gel and wore a scoop neck white T-shirt which showed some chest hair underneath his slouchy two-piece suit.

Jude is known to love wearing a relaxed style suit which he dresses down with a low scoop T-shirt – which was a more popular choice in the noughties, but still championed by the actor – as well as slim scarves. 

Jude likes to shun what is in fashion at a particular time to pave his own way when it comes to his wardrobe. 

The actor spoke about his style previously in an interview with Esquire. 

He said: ‘I went through my 20s and 30s wearing very tight trousers like most people. I grew up in the sort of tail end of punk in London with bands like The Clash and The Dead Kennedys. 

‘And so, I don’t know, I just feel at my age now, I quite like wearing a looser trouser and a jacket, always, if it’s cut well, can so complement…

‘It makes you feel very comfortable, but it also is elegant. I also love scarves. I feel like scarves have a kind of personality of their own right. They make you feel a little more, I don’t know, creative really.’ 

Jude welcomed Rafferty with his ex-wife Sadie Frost alongside daughter Iris, 23,  and son Ruby, 21. He is also father to Sophia, 13, with ex Samantha Burke; daughter Ada, 8, with ex Catherine Harding as well as two children with wife Phillipa Coan. 

The Bikeriders is based on a 1967 photo book of the same name by Danny Lyon, and first premiered at the 2023 Telluride Film Festival last year in August.

Set in the elusive world of New York nightlife, the Netflix series centres on a pair of brothers played by Jude and Jason Bateman, 55. 

This marks Jason and Laura’s reunion after they played husband and wife Marty and Wendy Byrde in the award-winning crime drama Ozark which wrapped in 2022 after five years. 

According to the official synopsis: ‘When the owner of a New York City hotspot, Jake Friedken (Jude) allows his chaotic brother Vince (Jason Bateman) back in his life, he opens the door to escalating dangers that threaten to bring down everything he’s built.’ 

Actor Jason is adding more to his workload as he is also directing the first two episodes, while Laura directs the third and fourth. 

 Jason and Jude are set to portray complex characters in Black Rabbit as they will play brothers, a dynamic that is sure to captivate viewers when the series, first announced in October 2022, premieres.
