Social media influencer Sanne Josefson said meeting Cristiano Ronaldo was the most uncomfortable encounter she has ever had with a celebrity.

Josefson was conducting an interview at Expressen’s television studio when she recalled how she had met Ronaldo at a luxury hotel in Los Angeles several years ago.

Josefson said Ronaldo’s manager ‘fancied’ her friend and that they invited them over to their table at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

However, Josefson was less than impressed by the conversation she had with Ronaldo – stating they didn’t ‘have much to talk about’.

The Swedish influencer also referenced the fact Ronaldo would only drink water because he ‘wanted to keep his six pack’.

The topic of conversation came up when Josefson was asked about her most uncomfortable encounter with a celebrity.

Speaking about her experience with Ronaldo, via Dagbladnet, she said: ‘I think his manager had a bit of a crush on my friend, so they invited us to a drink at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

‘We didn’t have a great conversation.’

When asked what the conversation consisted of, she said: ‘We were going to order something to drink and then he said I want water. I want to keep my six pack. Then I thought we don’t have much to talk about.’

The reporter finished by asking Josefson whether she had taken a photo with the footballer, to which she replied: ‘No I didn’t! I went out to the pub later.’

Ronaldo is known for taking care of his body, reportedly having a personal nutritionist who has been following him since his Real Madrid days.

Rather than sticking to the traditional three-meal structure of breakfast-lunch-dinner, he prefers to refuel with six smaller ‘mini-meals’ throughout the day.

The mini meals that Ronaldo eats on a daily basis are said to include: Breakfast, brunch, lunch, snack, supper, dinner.

That pattern is said to help meet the high nutritional demands of footballers, giving the energy they need for the range of training they do throughout the day.

In addition to training with his club, Ronaldo also supplements squad sessions with a personal workout plan. He swears by Pilates, regular swims and five trips to the gym a week.

These include 25-30 minutes of cardio, high-intensity sprinting and targeted weights to increase muscle strength. So, in total, he works out for three to four hours a day.

Ronaldo also prioritises his sleep and gets seven-and-a-half hours of sleep, which most people should aim for. However, he does it in an usual way.

Instead of catching up on sleep during the evening, like everyone else, he has five 90-minute naps across the day and night.

Known as polyphasic sleep, the basic concept is to break the normal sleep cycle up into a half-dozen naps, though the exact method can vary.
