Son methods mum into pondering aliens are invading – and her response is priceless
A TikToker has gone viral after tricking his mum into believing that aliens had landed in North America.
In a video shared online @toodirtydom can be seen pulling off the elaborate hoax as his mum watches a fake NBC News report on their living room TV, which claims “giant oval shaped objects appear in major cities”.
The broadcast is suddenly cut off by a supposed message from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, announcing a national emergency declared by the US Government.

There’s lots of quality news coming out of the US.
Dom’s mum was completely taken in by the prank, showing clear distress throughout the fake news segment. “I’m getting nervous,” she exclaimed when the FEMA warning flashed up. “See, I told you guys we needed a f**king plan.”
She began to frantically call out for others in the house and reached out to her loved ones over the phone. In an unplanned twist that added to the authenticity of the prank, her phone stopped working, reports the Mirror US.
Upon seeing the message that aliens were en route to Earth, she couldn’t help but shout: “Oh my god!”. It wasn’t until she noticed Dom laughing that she realised it was all a joke, at which point the video ends.
Netizens found the whole situation hilarious, with one commenting, “This is the same generation that told us not to believe everything we see on TV lol,” Another quipped: “The phone not working was a paid actor.”
One relieved viewer remarked: “Glad she didn’t panic lol,” while another pointed out: “The fact that you are just sitting there is making her SPIRAL.”
