Sadiq Khan points new Taylor Swift-themed tube map for London
Sadiq Khan has issued a new Taylor Swift-themed tube map for London with lines named after her albums and stations named after her songs.
TfL released the reimagined map to mark the pop megastars arrival in the capital city for her sold out Eras Tour.
Each tube line on the map has been named after one of Swift’s 11 albums and is represented by rows of gems in coordinating colours.
The stations have been named after tracks from the albums with large heart shaped gems added to represent locations with connections to Swift for fans to visit, including Wembley Stadium and Hackney.
TfL have released an itinerary for ‘A weekend in London (Taylor’s Version)’ for Swifties who want to visit all of the areas mentioned by the star in her songs.

London is hosting more Eras Tour performances than any other city in the world with over half a million people expected to attend over the weekend.
But Swifties have been warned to expect busy trains and potential delays to and from the three-hour concerty, with Chiltern Railways telling passengers to allow extra time to get to Wembley.
Fans going to watch the Bad Blood singer this weekend face more difficulties, with the rail firm writing on social media: ‘We’re sorry we will not be stopping at Wembley Stadium for the Taylor Swift concerts on June 22 and 23.
‘We’re carrying additional customers due to engineering works between Birmingham and London Euston so sadly can’t also support the concerts.’
But British Transport Police seem enthusiastic about the event and asked ‘London Swifties’ if they were ‘ready for it’, a reference to the her song of the same name.

There will be eight Eras Tour shows in London, with the first three taking place last night, Saturday and Sunday. She will then return to the capital for five more shows in August after such high demand.
London will host more performances of the Eras Tour than any other city in the world with nearly 700,000 people attending. Swifties are expected to boost the London economy by £300 million.
Emma Strain, TfL’s customer director, told the BBC that the Tube map ‘brings two icons together’ and pays ‘homage to Swift’s love of London’.
She added: ‘London is blessed to have eight dates for the Eras Tour, and we’re encouraging people to get out on the transport network to explore the many locales namechecked in Swift’s songs and see the exciting range of live music events across the city this summer.’
