Geri Horner emerges in Highgate after Christian’s sexting scandal
The controversy surrounding her husband’s sexting scandal was brushed to one side on Sunday as Geri Horner ventured out in north London.
The Spice Girl was making her first appearance in suburban Highgate, where she owns a home with Red Bull boss Christian Horner, since he was accused of sending intimate texts to a female employee.
Geri, 51, had made previous appearances at the Hay Festival – where she was on hand to promote her new children’s book – and the star-studded Christian Dior catwalk show in Edinburgh, where she curiously referred to herself by maiden name.
But she was still wearing her wedding ring while taking a stroll in the leafy London enclave, where she caught the eye in a casual white T-shirt and matching jeans.
She rounded off the look with white running shoes, while a baseball cap was pulled low over her trademark ginger hair.

Her outing comes after she reverted to her maiden Halliwell in a glamorous video for Dior earlier this month.
The singer appeared in the footage for Instagram as cameras followed her ahead of the luxury French brand’s fashion show at Drummond Castle.
Dressed chic in all white she kicked off the clip by saying: ‘C’est moi Geri, Geri Halliwell’ which translates to ‘It’s me Geri, Geri Halliwell’.
It comes following inappropriate text messages sent by her Formula One boss husband, 50, whom she wed in 2015, emerged in February.
The woman, in her 40s, went to HR at the Formula 1 team after she received the messages from Horner, often late at night.
She accused him of ‘coercive behaviour’ but an internal inquiry chaired by an unknown KC appointed by Red Bull cleared him. Horner has strongly denied any wrongdoing.
The accuser has been suspended as the saga rages on, sparking fury from campaign groups who claim ‘women just don’t have confidence that their complaints will be investigated properly’.
Geri recently told of the importance of finding ‘courage’ amid her family’s ongoing scandal and said that themes ‘within’ her, including finding ‘power’ in difficult situations and seeking out support are explored in her new children’s book.

She said: ‘There are themes within me that are in the book which are about finding your power in any situation.
‘If you are being bullied, and it doesn’t matter how old you are, if you feel lonely or you’re grieving over loss – it’s about finding courage.’
Christian’s F1 future remains under scrutiny after text messages between him and what appears to be a female colleague were leaked in 79 screenshots, as an anonymous sender sent an email that also copied in FIA chief Mohammed Ben Sulayem and F1 boss Stefano Domenicali.
MailOnline has previously revealed how the woman at the centre of the texting scandal has told friends she ‘feels let down’ by the Austrian based FI team, who she worked with.
Officials suspend her for ‘dishonesty’ just after announcing Christian had been exonerated but she has now appealed although no timeline has been established for her case.
Red Bull took action against her after the suggestive WhatsApp messages were sent from anonymous email address to 149 people including officials at F1 and motor racing correspondents.
The woman insists she was not the source and is ‘disappointed’ at how she has been treated by a company where she has worked the last five years.
A pal said: ‘Questions need to be asked of the Red Bull investigation, transparency would bring confidence in what is happening to her.
‘She just can’t get over the fact that she made a complaint and was suspended – all she wants is transparency in the process.’
The woman’s plea echoes that of Red Bull racing’s current engine partner Honda who also called for ‘clarity’ over the investigation that ultimately cleared Horner.
