Kate Middleton followers spot unlikely celeb in her carriage and may’t cease laughing

Kate Middleton left royal fans delighted when she made an appearance at Trooping the Colour last weekend – but some have made a bizarre observation.

Sporting what has now been labelled a “My Fair Lady-inspired” ensemble, the Princess of Wales’ first public outing following her cancer diagnosis was met with worldwide joy. Ever since footage of the event was shared, eagle-eyed fans have been scanning it for details.

However, no one anticipated spotting “Miriam Margolyes” in Kate’s carriage. Yes, you read that right.

Brits were left chuckling after a snap was posted to X (formerly Twitter) showing the Princess waving to the crowd from her carriage. But thanks to the lighting, Prince Louis ended up looking just like Miriam for a brief moment as he gazed out of the window.

The picture was posted by Shane Reaction with the caption: “Can’t stop thinking about the reflection in this picture making it look like Miriam Margolyes has just woken up in the back of Kate Middleton’s carriage.”

The post has been liked 17,000 times, leaving people in fits of laughter. One user said: “That’s how you know it was a good night out.” Another chimed in with: “I can hear her now… ‘sorry I just farted’.”

A third replied: “This actually made me LOL and I never write LOL.” Meanwhile, a fourth also commented: “I would pay a lot to see the Netflix series based on this tweet.”

Princess Kate dazzled the nation with her radiant presence as she greeted the crowds from the Buckingham Palace balcony for the first time in half-a-year at the recent Trooping the Colour.

While Princess Kate’s stunning appearance doesn’t mean she’s back to full-time Royal engagements just yet, it certainly gave everyone a much-needed boost and showcased the solidarity of the Royal Family.

The future Queen looked absolutely stunning in a chic recycled Jenny Packham number, which she teamed with Jimmy Choo pumps, a stylish Philip Treacy hat and a sleek Mulberry clutch.
