Missing Jay Slater seen in new TikTok clip dancing topless in Tenerife nightclub

A TikTok video has emerged showing missing teenager Jay Slater dancing in a Tenerife nightclub hours before he was last heard from Monday.

The bombshell video lasts two minutes and 40 seconds and the 19-year-old was seen dancing with his top off and carrying only a small crossbody bag.

Jay, from Oswaldtwistle in Lancashire, flew to the Spanish island of Tenerife to attend the NRG music festival with his friends but he had not been in contact with anyone since Monday morning.

His phone last pinged shortly after 8am near the village of Masca and his friend, Lucy Mae Law, said he told her he was going to walk back to his Airbnb after missing a bus.

The TikTok video captioned: “New Footage! 1AM Jay Slater is seen in this video very disorientated. Confirmed. The end [of the] footage is potentially a key piece for info, did he really have his top still on?”

Jay’s father Warren Slater, and brother, Zak, went to the search site on Saturday and made emotional pleas for his return. As they watched the rescue team going through the tracks with heaps of dead palm leaves with sticks, they told the media: “I’m just hoping that somebody has helped him off this mountain, that’s all I want. I just want him back and that’s it. He’s my son.”

Zak added: “I don’t know what to say. We just want him to come home safe. I just wish he’d come home.”

The walk from his last known location would have taken about 11 hours on foot. Lucy also said Jay told her he was “lost in the mountains, he wasn’t aware of his surroundings, he desperately needed a drink and his phone was on one per cent”.

Jay’s mother, Debbie Duncan, who is also on the island, said she “has not slept” since her son disappeared. She added: “I’m not coping very well at all. I’ve not slept, I’m exhausted. It’s been awful. I can’t give up on him, I just can’t.”

Speaking about what message she would have for her son, she said: “We just need you home – we just need him home.”
