Police launch probe after loss of life of four-year-old at residence in Wales

Police have launched a probe after a four-year-old died at a home in Ceredigion, Wales. 

An air ambulance was called to an incident at the property in the Tregaron area on Thursday, June 20 but paramedics were not able to save the child.

The force said that they are not treating the death as suspicious and it has been reported to the corner. 

In a statement, a spokesperson for the police force shared their condolences to the child’s loved ones.

The statement read: ‘Dyfed-Powys Police attended the death of a 4-year-old child at a property in the Tregaron area on Thursday, 20 June 2024.

‘The death is not being treated as suspicious and H.M Coroner has been informed. Our thoughts are with the family who are receiving support and they have asked for privacy during this difficult time.’
