Neymar pockets £240,000 in ‘wildest poker hand ever’ on desk with Chris Eubank

Neymar scooped a £240,000 in what’s been dubbed the “craziest poker hand ever”, leaving celebs like Chris Eubank Jr gobsmacked.

The Brazilian superstar joined the Hustler Casino Live game at the weekend, rubbing shoulders with Fortnite legend Ninja, poker pro Alan Keating, and muso Pedro Velasco, amongst others. The stakes were high and the crowd was buzzing when Neymar hit the jackpot.

Early on, Eubank Jr chucked in $1,000, feeling lucky with his six of diamonds and five of clubs. Ninja wasn’t far behind, playing his king of diamonds and ten of clubs, while Neymar, holding a nine of clubs and five of hearts, fancied a flutter too.

Keating, sitting pretty with an ace of diamonds and four of diamonds, upped the ante to $5,000, tempting all three lads to stay in the game. The flop turned up a nine of diamonds, two of clubs, and queen of diamonds, leading Keary to slap down a $10,000 bet.

Ninja and Neymar stuck around to see the turn card – a six of spades – but after Keating went all in, Ninja ducked out, finding the heat too much. Neymar, however, wasn’t phased and matched the $74,000 stake with just two pairs, which turned out to be the winning hand.

During the high-stakes, tension-filled poker match, the river was dealt twice; first a three of diamonds boosted Keating before Neymar scored with a five of clubs. Yet as the stakes got higher, things spiralled and Keating suggested a $50,000 third flip, which saw Neymar securing a smooth $100,000 from the queen of hearts.

Despite losing, Keating didn’t stop there, proposing another $50,000 turn that ended up fattening Neymar’s pockets when a jack of hearts emerged. Desperate for a reversal of fortune, Keaking cried: “One more time,” but to no avail, the jack of clubs awarded Neymar an additional $150,000.

Neymar continued to ride his luck afterwards, smashing another flip at $75,000 thanks to the two of hearts, then pocketing even more from a $60,000 wager after a nine of spades draw. A final, all-or-nothing $75,000 flip ended in despair for Keating as the ten of spades hit, humorously conceding his defeat and saying: “All right, last one for $25 dollars,” as he retreated.

Keating’s night would conclude with jaw-dropping losses totalling $360,000 – roughly £283K – making his cumulative loss shoot up to $478,850, around £377,307. In stark contrast, Neymar exited with his wallet $306K heavier, which is about £241,130 – not your average payday.

Social media naturally exploded over the astonishing game, with fans quickly buzzing online. Hustler Casino Live even branded it: “THE MOST EPIC HAND IN POKER HISTORY!” Bewildered fans commented in droves, with one asking: “What the f*** did I just watch?” While another lauded Neymar’s daring moves, saying: “Neymar no fear I love it.”

A third commented: “Ninja looked like he was feeling bad for the man.. Crazy.” A fourth said: “Thank you for providing us with the most unusual poker hand, ever played. You are a true diamond for this industry @Mister_Keating.”

Meanwhile, another chimed in with: “I didn’t even know this was possible.” As yet another exclaimed: “This is why Neymar is him.”
