EFL fixtures launched as Leeds and Wrexham discover out 2024/25 opponents
The 2023/24 EFL fixtures have been released with Championship big guns Leeds, relegated Premier League sides and Ryan Reynolds’ newly promoted Wrexham all learning their opening day opponents.
Leeds missed out on a return to the top flight with an agonising play-off final defeat to Southampton. But they will look to launch a fresh assault on promotion back to the big time when they face Portsmouth – champions of League One last term – at home at 12.30pm on Saturday, August 10.
Daniel Farke’s men follow that up with a trip to the Midlands to face West Bromwich Albion at 3pm on Saturday, August 17 and to play Sheffield Wednesday at the same time on Saturday, August 24.
