Inside the Serpentine Gallery’s boozy summer season soiree as stars let free

An eclectic mix of stars let loose on Tuesday as they partied the night away at the Serpentine Gallery summer party in Kensington, London.

TV personalities and socialites rubbed shoulders with politicians and Hollywood movie stars as they enjoyed the annual soiree at Serpentine Pavilion, designed by Minsuk Cho of Mass Studies, and on the grounds of the Serpentine South Gallery. 

Making the most of the free-flowing alcohol on offer was the likes of Maya Jama, who was spotted swilling a glass of rose before making a beeline for Laurence Fishburn. 

The Love Island host, 29, wasted no time asking the him for a selfie and the Oscar-nominated actor, 62, happily obliged, beaming as he posed for snaps. 

Another cosy moment came as Venus Williams rushed over to greet her dear friend and former British Vogue editor, Edward Enninful. 

The former world no. 1 tennis player, 44, looked in high spirits as she strutted over to Edward with a drink in hand before catching up with the fashion guru, 52. 

And that was far from the only enthusiastic exchange as London Mayor Sadiq Khan appeared starstruck when chatting with Bianca Jagger. 

He needn’t have worried, however, as former actress and Nicaraguan human rights campaigner Bianca, 79, appeared in great spirits at the event, briskly pulling the politician, 53, in for a bear hug.  

It seems a fabulous night was had by all as the attendees mingled around the luxury surroundings.  

This year’s Serpentine Summer Party saw guests walk through an artist-led experience.

It aimed to bring the most visionary global patrons of today together with leading voices from the arts, business, technologies, cultural industries, fashion and public sectors from the UK and around the world. 

Prior to entering the party, the celebrity guests posed for pictures outside, showcasing their incredible figures and sense of style. 

TV star Maya displayed her jaw-dropping figure in a black bralette as she led the stars at the event. 

Maya looked nothing short of sensational in the triangle bralette which she teamed with a pair of matching flared trousers. 

She sent temperatures soaring in the racy number as she added an open leopard print shirt over the top and elevated her frame in a pair of towering stilettos. 

Maya wore her long dark tresses pushed back in a coordinated leopard print headband and opted for a glamorous palette of makeup. 

Meanwhile, athlete Venus looked stunning in a white halter neck gown as she posed for photos at the star-studded event. 

The tennis star showed off her incredible figure in the glamorous dress and elevated her frame in a pair of towering heels. 

Emma Weymouth commanded attention in a red strapless gown which boasted ruffled detailing and a corset top. 

The British socialite toted her belongings around in a black clutch and accessorised with a pair of dazzling stud earrings. 

Jourdan Dunn turned heads as she flashed sideboob and underwear in a semi-sheer black gown as she posed for photos at the event.

The model looked fabulous in the halter neck number which boasted a white ruffled shirt. 

She wore a glamorous palette of makeup to accentuate her beauty and accessorised with silver drop earrings. 

Alexa Chung showed off her amazing figure as she went braless under an eye catching green satin cut out dress by Nensi Dojaka.

She elevated her frame in a pair of black pointed toe heels and left her long brunette tresses loose. 

Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock made sure all eyes were on her in a dazzling bralette and coordinated sequin silver maxi skirt. 

The singer displayed her jaw-dropping figure in the racy ensemble as she posed for sizzling snaps. 

Styling her long dark tresses in a neat up do, the mother-of-two added inches to her frame in a pair of silver heels. 

Minnie Driver cut a summery figure in a pink patterned dress which donned dazzling red jeweled detailing. 

The actress elevated her frame in a pair of black heels and carried her belongings in a matching clutch. 

The Ella Enchanted star wore a long gold pendant necklace and styled her long brunette tresses in waves. 

Ed McVey cut a stylish figure in a blue boucle jacket and matching trousers as he beamed for phots at the event. 

The Crown actor rocked a pair of sunglasses and completed his evening outfit with a pair of black shoes. 

Elsewhere Benedict Cumberbatch looked effortlessly cool in a white oversized shirt which he teamed with matching cargos and trainers. 

The actor donned a pair of sunglasses as he posed for photos with his glamorous wife Sophie Hunter who stunned in a black ruffled dress and sandals. 

Martha Ward looked stunning in a plunging pink dress which cinched in at the waist showcased her incredible figure. 

She carried a chic woven handbag and accessorised with a pair of white tassel earrings. 

Munroe Bergdorf put on a leggy display in a strapless white ruched midi dress which she teamed with sequin stilettos and a pearl choker. 

Lady Mary Charteris flashed a black bralette beneath her stylish purple semi-sheer ruffled gown which she teamed with black accessorised. 

Bianca Jagger cut a cool figure in a patterned white jacket which she donned over a white satin shirt and sage trousers. 

Pixie Geldof looked every inch a princess in a black dress which boasted a dramatic layered netted skirt. 

She added a pop of colour to the ensemble with a pair of green heels and carried her belongings in a silver handbag.

Meanwhile Charlotte Olympia commanded attention in a white dazzling maxi dress which she teamed with a matching clutch. 

Styling her short blonde tresses in voluminous curls, Charlotte rocked a pair of quirky sunglasses with the ensemble.
