‘Love lifetime of England stars should depart Gareth Southgate tearing his hair out’
The love life of some England stars must be leaving Gareth Southgate tearing his hair out.
The England camp have been trying in vain to keep a lid on stories involving WAGs during Euro 2024, but Kyle Walker has had his wife AND his former lover out here in Germany at the same time. And now the wife of Kieran Trippier has posted some cryptic messages on social media suggesting all is not well between them.
While most of the players enjoyed time with their families at the squad’s Blankenhain base last Friday, Trippier’s wife Charlotte and kids were nowhere to be seen, leaving the Newcastle ace feeling like Billy no mates.

One unfortunate couple in Cologne got more than they bargained for on their wedding day. Like an extra 3,000 guests, drinking lager and chanting offensive songs.
The couple in question tied the knot inside the city’s register office close to the mighty River Rhine. Then went outside to have photographs taken – only to discover the area was mobbed with England fans supping in the baking sunshine. I’d say that’s a serious lack of planning, wouldn’t you?

Some tickets for England’s game against Slovenia were still available on certain websites in the hours leading up to kick off. And not because England have been shocking on the pitch, either.
But because the transport system in Germany, and mainly the rail network, is so unreliable, travelling supporters have either gone back home, or refused to come out here. Tickets for the final Group C game against Slovenia could be found on the England Travel Supporters Club, the FA’s official organisation, for as little as £150.
When the very same tickets could be bought for up to £350 a few days before.
Danny Rohl has put some of his EFL rivals to shame. Rohl, who is the former assistant coach of Germany, has been back in his homeland working as a pundit for ITV at Euro 2024.
But he left the gig behind on Monday, and flew back to England so he could start his plans for pre-season training with Sheffield Wednesday. Rohl, who took charge of the Owls in October 2023, is keen to avoid another relegation scrap this season.
Take note Wayne Rooney. Rooney has recently been appointed Plymouth boss, but remains in Germany working as a pundit for the BBC.
Jude Bellingham continues to be as popular off the pitch as he is on it.
The England and Real Madrid superstar has people queuing up to sponsor him, or get him to endorse their products. And new data has revealed Bellingham’s shirt is the most in-demand one at the Euros out of all the players in the Three Lions squad.
