Three party leaders dabbled in a little pottery yesterday as crunch time loomed ever nearer.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visited the Denby Pottery factory in Ripley, Derbyshire, where he tried his hand at learning to turn ceramics and even hand-glazed a teapot.
