Jay Slater cops probing theft of Rolex watch hours earlier than Brit teen vanished
Cops in the search for Jay Slater have started to chase a lead involving a fight and a Rolex theft as they bid to find the missing teen.
According to police on the scene, a fight to do with a missing Rolex broke out at the Papagayo Beach Club where Jay was partying in the early hours of June 17 right before he went missing.
It is unclear whether Jay was involved in the fight, however police have said they are hunting any leads that may connect them to his ongoing disappearance.

As the search goes into its third week, Spanish police are scouring through any and all CCTV footage from the night of Jay’s disappearance to see if it unlocks any answers for them.
The facts of the case remain that Jay left the NRG music festival with two strangers and drove their AirBnb in northern Tenerife. According to reporters who have been to the Airbnb it is in a treacherous part of the island, with many dangerous twists and turns and ravines in the area.
Jay was then spotted by a local, Ofelia Medina Hernadez, at 8am on June 17. He was at the bus stop and asked her when the next bus to Los Cristianos, where his friends were staying, was. He then wandered off into the mountains.
Cops are also tracing the lead of his phone signal. His phone pinged in the mountains of northern Tenerife, near Masca, at 8:50am and then lost signal. They have sent multiple search parties across three ravines in the Masca area to no avail, as Jay remains missing.
Investigators have also opened a probe into whether Jay was spotted watching the Euros on the beach after several people came forward saying they spotted the missing teenager at a beach bar. They are also looking into the two men who drive Jay to their AirBnb, as they have returned to England and are seen as “key witnesses.”
