Mr Motivator’s inspiring message to steer England to glory – and squad ‘find it irresistible’
The Three Lions will roar to victory against Slovakia after an inspirational message from TV legend Mr Motivator.
The fitness guru and tight spandex-wearing hero joined forces with the Daily Star to lift the spirits of both the England fans and Gareth Southgate’s team.
We sent his motivational video to the England lads at their Euro 2024 training camp in Blankenhain, Germany, on the eve of their last-16 showdown.
A source said they “loved it.”

The positivity personality has also recorded a special workout video to gee up frustrated fans before the game.
Mr Motivator – real name Derrick Evans – sprung into action to boost the spirits of supporters, who have been bored to tears watching England’s three group games.
The sprightly 71-year-old, who rose to fame in 1993 through appearances on the UK breakfast television show GMTV, reckons if the country unites behind Harry Kane and the squad, England’s Euro glory will be guaranteed.
He said “There is a lot of fear and negativity surrounding this England team. We’re too quick to vilify the side over any mistake. There is an inbuilt fear and that’s what I believe is stopping them actually flying.
“So it’s my mission to get rid of that fear. We need to get back to basics and get the fans behind them. Forget negative thoughts. To get the team to believe that we love them no matter what.
“We need them to believe they are winners. And we will bring them to another level.”
In the video made especially for the players before the game, Mr Motivator says: “Hey team, before you walk out on that pitch I want you to listen to these words.
“We love you, no matter what. I want you to dispel every negativity that you have in your bones. Every single thought you have going through your mind about failure.
“Remember these words. Success, winners, accomplishment, progress, triumph, victory, win, advance.
“You are going to be so fabulous. A team that works hard together, will succeed together.
“So stand up tall now. Look in that mirror and tell yourself, today is going to be a great day, no matter what. Say yeah.”
Speaking from inside their German HQ a Football Association spokesman said: “We appreciate all the support for the team both back at home and out in Germany.”
The telly trainer also devised a fun workout, which includes riding a horse to victory, for fans to try in the stands or at home in front of the telly.
He said all fans should get behind the team and also send only good vibes to them on the web.
He says: “Instead of abuse, let’s show them love. If everyone goes on to X and tweets – #weloveyouthreelions then the positivity will lead to victory.”
