Tennis star confronted with psycho seagull in resort room because it poos on her mattress
A psycho seagull sneaked into a tennis star’s hotel room and pooed on the bed.
Julia Riera was in the coastal town of Eastbourne, as part of her preparation for Wimbledon, when she came face to face with the winged intruder.
The South American tennis pro posted a video on X, formerly Twitter, of the bird perched on the room’s desk chair, having left a series of dirty brown marks on the towels and bed sheets. It is thought the bird squeezed through an open window.

Julia, 22, in the East Sussex town for the Rothesay International event, joked with fans: “Arriving in Eastbourne with my friend Steven.”

One cheeky poster replied: “Complete Eastbourne experience.”
Last year gulls interrupted a match between American Coco Gauff and Croatian Bernarda Pera.
It comes as the “ripped ASBO” beasts of Liverpool have earned themselves the most aggressive nicknames from “flying gangsters” to “XL Gullies.”
Earlier this year, the Daily Star reported how a jacked-up gargantuan “top level boss” gull has been wreaking havoc in the city centre where there appears to be an uprising in flying fiends nabbing people’s pasties.
And it’s not just during the day that the beady-eyed birds are at large. Be careful after a few pints or they could rob you of your Maccies.

Liverpool photographer Sean Dagnall captured the birds in action after a birthday night out on the tiles. Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, the 38-year-old said: “I’d been on a night out in town for my birthday and always take my camera out.
“I like taking pictures of the local wildlife and the seagulls just fascinated me. It was a quiet night in town but the seagulls were out rooting through bins at 5am, swiping all the leftovers and hanging around outside Maccies.
“They take great pictures and I love the fact that they don’t respect us as being top of the food chain. If they want your sandwich, they are getting your sandwich.”
