Lara Trump’s Latest Donald Trump Claim Receives Easiest Fact Check Of All Time

Critics’ eyebrows hit the roof over Lara Trump’s new boast about her father-in-law, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

“The fact that you have Donald Trump leading the country right now when he is not officially yet back in the White House speaks volumes to the American people and, I think, to the rest of the world,” Lara Trump, the co-chair of the Republican National Committee, told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo on Sunday.

“He is the leader we need right now and he is leading despite the fact Joe Biden is technically the president,” she added.

Lara Trump later predicted “a huge, huge win for Donald Trump come Nov. 5.”

Although Biden has faced increased scrutiny following his disastrous debate performance last week, many people on X (formerly Twitter) still felt compelled to point out the obvious that Trump is not leading the country because he is not the president and has not been since Biden was inaugurated in Jan. 2021.

Some asked whether Trump believed he was some kind of “shadow POTUS.”

Others were simply stunned by Lara Trump’s word salad.
