‘England must win Euros to get my automobile again – I misplaced it on unhealthy Spurs guess’

A Spurs super fan who lost her car on a brutal Premier League bet has revealed how she needs England to win the Euros to get the motor back.

Britt, 26, from Lancashire, has been a fan of the north London football team since she was born thanks to inheriting the generational adoration for the club.

Despite having “no choice” but to back the side, that has yet to win a Premier League trophy, Britt’s backing of her team remains unwavering.

However, it appears that Britt’s loyalty to Spurs has left her in a bit of a pickle. The budding content creator and model decided to make a bet on Tottenham Hotspur finishing in the top four of the Prem table.

Britt’s Spurs bet went horribly wrong – she’s now hoping England can save the day

In a cruel twist of fate and bad form from Ange Postecoglou’s team, Britt ended up having to give her beloved blue Subaru Impreza WRX away.

Now, Britt has got everything crossed that a Spurs estranged Harry Kane and the magic of Jude Bellingham can help get her behind the wheel once again.

She exclusively told us: “I’ve actually got a bet on with someone to win my car back. During the season I made a bet with a someone and I said if Spurs don’t finish top four you can have my car.

“Anyway, we finished 5th so I’ve done another bet that if England win the Euros I get my car back.”

But with England’s nail biting performance against Slovakia on Saturday (June 29), Britt isn’t feeling entirely confident about getting her set of wheels back this tournament.

The newest model of the car costs a hefty £25,910 so it looks like Southgate really needs to get his lads’ bums in gear.

Britt likened watching England to ‘Spurs playing a lower league team’ where they rely on ‘miracles’ to win the game.

The car aficionado is hoping that Tottenham’s influence will be pivotal in England’s success – despite not having any players in the national squad.

Britt shared: “We’ve got some of the best players from clubs from different leagues who manage to preform at the top level all the time, you stick an England shirt on them and the can’t play.

“When we went 0-1 there was no desire to retaliate. It was only when the panic set in we started to look like we wanted to score.

“I felt like I was watching Spurs play a lower league team. We go 0-1 down sit back do nothing and then panic sets and in somehow we pull of a miracle.

“I think there was about 85 minutes on the clock and I got changed into my Spurs kit as we weren’t winning in my England kit, so I thought I’d bring us some spurs luck and it did.”

While Britt is a through and through Spurs fan – despite the car ordeal – she still loves to see Kane on pitch regardless of him cutting ties and moving to Bayern Munich.

And thanks to the captain and his mug saving the day on Saturday, Britt might even get her car back after all.

Britt admitted: “I love seeing Kane score, no bittersweet feelings here.

“I love Kane as a player but that’s football they come and go and if he’s helping us win I’m happy. As long as he doesn’t score against Spurs I’ve no issues.”
