When we share a positive experience with others, our brains release oxytocin which can promote empathy, trust and relationship-building. And the more we engage in these feel-good behaviours, the more oxytocin we get. It’s a virtuous circle.”

The research revealed that 58% of people believe acts of kindness don’t have to be grand gestures, with smaller ones often being just as meaningful.

It also showed that 46% think there’s “too much” negativity in the UK currently, with 54% feeling that not enough individuals perform good deeds.

Ahead of the unveiling of the Mana Mural, which will be open for visitation until Thursday, July 4, Dwayne Johnson expressed: “The UK is a special place for me. To now be able to ‘share the Mana’ with the UK is a privilege.”

The study, conducted via OnePoll, disclosed that 61% of people have experienced someone going ‘above and beyond’ for them. Consequently, 65% felt thankful, 60% felt appreciative, and 42% felt loved.
