Political pooches inform house owners who to vote for – and it is dangerous information for one social gathering

Dogs are telling owners who to vote for. Fed-up Brits will travel to the polls tomorrow (Thursday, July 4) to decide who will be the next Prime Minister of the UK following Rishi Sunak calling a snap election.

Labour is currently leading the polls, with the BBC predicting a 40% voting intention for dilly-dancing Sir Keir Starmer.

The Conservative’s drop in popularity follows Sunak’s decision to snub D-Day veterans, combined with poverty-pleading about growing up without Sky TV. Now, some Brits are joking about leaving the fate of the country up to their pooches.

Taking to TikTok, dog owners Zoe and Em quizzed their dogs on potential candidates for No10 in a hilarious skit.

There was one clear winner according to these political pooches

“High five if you want me to vote Labour,” Zoe asked her canine, who didn’t budge an inch. “High five if you want me to vote Conservatives,” she added. Again, the pooch did not move.

However, when asked if she should vote for the Green Party, the dog suddenly musters the effort to give a high-five. “He wants more fields to walk in,” Em joked.

Reform was a ‘clear and concise’ no for a dog who appeared to give an icy glare at the mere suggestion. Liberal Democrats didn’t win his approval either. “He wants the Green Party, he just cares for the animals,” the owners said.

Hundreds of amused viewers flocked to the comments section to praise the political pooch. “He made his choice you better stand by it,” one user joked. Another described him as a ‘legend’ while a third added: “Can’t argue with him.” A fourth wrote: “This doggo for Prime Minister.”

Another user posted a video of her Corgi, who seemed to be fed-up with politics altogether. When asked if her owner should vote for Labour, the dog didn’t raise its paw. However, when asked if she should vote for Conservatives, the dog walks out of the room.
