Wandsworth Prison intercourse clip will not land convict grownup star deal – for one motive

A porn star recruiter has weighed in on the viral Wandsworth Prison sex clip. A lag hit headlines this week for allegedly romping with a prison guard on camera, so naturally we’ve found out if he has a future in the X-rated industry.

Linton Weirich was jailed for four years and nine months after burgling homes in his own neighbourhood of Richmond, South West London, while wearing an electronic tag. But his time behind bars isn’t quite the hard sentence his victims imagined for him.

A video clip of him spread like wildfire on social media on Saturday as he was filmed appearing to have sex with a woman in uniform at HMP Wandsworth in London, prompting a police investigation. The prison officer involved, Linda De Sousa Abreu, 30, was later arrested for misconduct in public office and appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 1.

Weirich, however, will face no criminal charges for his part.

According to a spokesman for Climaxx Media, which signs up amateur talent for the adult films, there’s an issue with Weirich’s performance. Rather than either Weirich or De Sousa Abreu disappointing on the camera, it’s inmate person behind it that’s let the video down, Climaxx says.

Spokesman Richard told the Daily Star: “In terms of the male’s ability to succeed in the adult industry, it’s difficult to say from such poor quality footage. Ultimately, we recruit complete amateurs looking to make their debut in the adult industry but as part of recruitment process we ask for good quality pictures or videos to be submitted as part of the application.”

A Met Police spokesperson previously told the Daily Star: “A police investigation was launched on 28 June after officers were made aware of a video allegedly filmed inside HMP Wandsworth.”

Weirich was jailed in April this year for burglary after stealing £65,000 worth of goods from a safe in a luxury flat in Kensington. The raid took place in March 2022, where he took jewellery, handbags, belts, a suitcase and a laptop.

The 36-year-old is thought to have a partner, who is said to be seven months pregnant – De Sousa Abreu is also married.

Climaxx Media took the opportunity to make a rallying cry for wannabe adult stars, insisting getting on screen for a spot of hanky panky has never been simpler.

Richard added: “In essence, in today’s digital age anyone can succeed and earn in this industry as there’s a huge variety of genres and there’s something for everyone out there! There has never been an easier time to get into the adult industry and start earning.”
