Keir Starmer will get three-word warning from Count Binface as he will get keys to No 10

Count Binface has warned Sir Keir Starmer he’s “coming for you” if he doesn’t carry out his demands.

He issued two commands – the immediate exoneration of victims of the Post Office scandal and compensation, along with “concrete action” to fix the “solvable problem of homelessness”.

The intergalactic space warrior, the creation of comic Jon Harvey, said: “Throw in Ceefax too, and I might just vote for you. Show the humans you mean business, Keir, otherwise Binface is coming for you.”

He said it was a “historic night” for his “Countbinistas” as he celebrated his record 308 votes in Richmond and Northallerton, North Yorks, where he stood against Rishi “Biggles” Sunak.

He said: “That my friends is a Binface record.

“It’s an extraterrestrial record in a British parliamentary election.

“I am over the moon, and several planets.

“Just like I am about the fact that the electoral asteroid has hit the Conservative Party, and we can all have a damn good laugh about that too.”

Fellow candidate Youtuber Niko Omilana mocked Biggles by holding up a loser sign on a piece of paper as he gave his speech after being re-elected.

In more serious news, Sir Keir vowed that the “work of change begins immediately” as he entered Downing Street.

In his first address to the nation as Prime Minister, the Labour leader promised to “rebuild Britain” and fix issues including the NHS, crime and sky-high energy bills.

He insisted he would “unite our country” and “end the era of noisy performance” following Labour’s landslide victory in Thursday’s election.

The PM, accompanied by his wife Victoria, spoke on the steps of No 10 after meeting King Charles at Buckingham Palace, where he was formally invited to form a government.

He said: “My government will fight, every day.

“From now on, you have a government unburdened by doctrine, guided only by a determination to serve your interests.”

He pledged to “defy” those who have “written our country off” and said he will “deliver change”.

“Our work is urgent – and we begin it today.”

Labour has secured 412 seats, a majority of around 170 – the biggest since 1997.

The Conservative Party dropped down to 121 seats, its worst-ever result, while the Lib Dems got 71, the SNP nine, while Reform UK and the Greens both got four seats each.

MPs will return to Westminster on Tuesday and begin the process of swearing in, before the King formally opens Parliament on July 17.
