‘Footballers message me behind their companions’ backs – I really feel sorry for WAGs’

A former glamour model who described the “carnage” of partying with England stars before major tournaments says she feels sorry for footie WAGs – but only a little bit.

Carla Bellucci is now a mum-of-four who no longer gets her kit off for lads mags but she claimed she still gets contacted by cheating footballers.

The married influencer, 42, who was once branded ‘Britain’s most hated woman, sympathised with their other halves but said high-profile sportsmen can’t be trusted.

She told us: “I still get the odd messages off players or ex-players today – I just don’t expose them. I do feel sorry for WAGs but it is the name of the game.

“I think they are more clever than they let on and I think they know exactly what goes down. They are more for the lifestyle and when you marry a footballer, you sign up for it.

“That’s why I couldn’t marry one because I just couldn’t put up with it – I would be a wreck. I don’t judge them and I don’t even really feel sorry for them. It is up to us what we put up with as humans and that is the price you pay to be a WAG.”

In part one of our interview with Carla, where Euro 2024 was discussed, she revealed how she once enjoyed a boozy session with the Three Lions team.

This was the same year as the nation got knocked out on penalties by Italy in Euro 2012 and she shared a picture alongside John Terry from inside Tiger Tiger nightclub in London.

She claimed footballers used to get up to “absolute carnage” during an era where she claimed social media was less of a threat to their privacy.

Reminiscing about the past, she said: “The footballers were great and I remember chanting and going crazy for John Terry. He was chatty and loving life and a very funny and genuine guy.

“I was a glamour model then and I think footballers could just fish us out of a crowd. We always used to end up on footballer tables with thousands of pounds being spent. I remember thinking, ‘How do people have this sort of money to spend?’ I was shocked how hard they partied back then.”

Back then she was a single-mum whose modelling helped her put food on the table but her reputation took a battering after later blagging a free NHS nose job by faking depression.

This led to her being branded ‘Britain’s most hated woman’ and she later admitted she was a t**t for doing it after almost dying in childbirth.

And asked whether she missed partying with rich and famous footballers, she said: “It was an era and I have some crazy memories to tell my kids.

“I did love it but I think times have changed. I don’t think they party how they used to. It is all social media now and I’m sorry to say but these young girls are dry and have no personality they are after their own fame. Us glamour girls were just up for a good time and that’s what it was.”

The glamorous mum said Phil Foden was the most talented player in the squad

Carla went on to predict that England would lift the Euros trophy in Germany this summer, and said Phil Foden was the key to victory.

However, on a more pessimistic note, she concluded: “It’s time for the manager to move on. Gareth has been there too long.”
