Police hunt girl, 35, with viral mugshot as bloke asks ‘is that in canine years’

Police are hunting a 35-year-old woman in connection with a burglary in the Preston area . . . who has gone viral for all the wrong reasons.

Kelly Henry also goes by the name Kelly Delaney. A Preston Police statement said: “Have you seen Kelly Henry? Kelly Henry also goes by the name Kelly Delaney. “Henry, 35, is wanted in connection with a burglary. She is 5ft 4in tall, of slim build and has black hair.

“Henry has connections to Preston. For any sightings of Henry, or if you have any information that could help us, please call 101 or email [email protected].” However, social media being social media, the woman’s mugshot has gone viral for all the wrong reasons.

Although listed as 35, many felt that the woman looked . . . much older, with pretty much every comment on social media site Facebook pointing it out.

One wrote: “As mugshots go, that’s unforgettable.” And a second wrote: “35……Jesus wept!!! Makes me look 12 and I’m 43.” A third asked if that was “in dog years?” while another checked that the force new that ages go “by years, not centuries”.

However, despite all the comments, there were some who saw the more serious side, as one wrote:”So so sad, to think she obviously needs help/ support, you all wonder why people end up like this because we live in a world full of horrible judgmental b**lends.

“Bless her I hope she gets the help she needs and her life becomes much more worth while – just goes to show people will do anything for a few laugh reacts. Take a closer look at your own lives before judging others!”

And another wrote that they “Hope she is found and accepts the help she clearly needs.”
