Kate Middleton to attend Wimbledon in uncommon outing this weekend, Palace confirms

Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, will make a rate outing and attend Wimbledon this weekend, Kensington Palace has confirmed.

Kate, who has been undergoing cancer treatment, will make an appearance at the final of the men’s singles tournament on Sunday.

The future Queen of England has kept a low profile since she revealed she had been diagnosed with cancer in March, however delighted her fans when she attended Trooping the Colour last month.

Following her June return to Buckingham Palace’s balcony, Royal fans had hoped the princess would attended the iconic tennis tournament, which kicked off last week.

It’s understood Kate, 43, will hand the trophy to the match’s winner.

In the lead up to Trooping the Colour, Kate shared a health update, saying that she is “making good progress” but “there are good days and bad days”.

The princess added that while she hoped she could “join a few public engagements over the summer”, she was “not out of the woods yet”.
