Babyistter left distraught after kids’s mom did not come house

A babysitter has claimed she was left home alone all night with a woman’s children after she failed to return for hours. 

Established babysitter, Danielle Lobes, from Portland, Oregon, agreed to look after two children because she needed the extra money for her vacation – which is something she quickly regretted.

Almost instantly, the 22-year-old walked into what she described as a ‘messy’ and ‘dirty’ house, with Danielle claiming the house was a hazard to the two children.

Arriving at 7pm, Danielle was originally told by the mother that she would be back at 2am.

The 22-year-old alleges that as the night went on she never heard from the woman, despite numerous attempts to get into contact with her.

 Danielle took to TikTok to share the bad experience, saying that she had a negative feeling as soon as she arrived at the woman’s home 

At 2am, Danielle sent a message to the mother asking to borrow a phone charger and was told to look in the woman’s bedroom. 

At this point the mother was already late but made no reference to it in her reply.  

Danielle sent another text message to the missing mother when it got to 5am and she still hadn’t come back. 

She wrote: ‘I am a little concerned that something may have happened. I know we discussed a late night, which is all good, but overnight care was not talked about. 

Danielle called the cops and made sure they stayed with her until the mother finally returned home from her big night out 

The babysitter took to TikTok to share her account, prompting others to reveal the times when they too were left with kids 

‘At this point I really need to go home as it’s 5am.’

She asked if there was somoene she could contact to look after the children in the meantime, but received no response.  

She started to worry for the safety of the mother who, according to Danielle, had ventured to a bar with an alarming reputation. 

In the meantime, the stressed babysitter was forced to contend with questions from the children who asked where the mother was.

She claims she had to contact the police and report that the mother hadn’t returned home, where Danielle requested that the officers remain present with her.

Danielle sent a message after 2.30am asking to borrow a phone charger, but the woman made no reference to the fact that she was already late coming back 

Danielle’s night from hell finally ended when she received a phone call from the mother at 8am the following morning, claiming she claims she went back to a man’s house whom she met at the bar. 

She also added that her phone ran out of battery.

Throughout the night, Danielle deep cleaned the house which contained out-of-date food and had no beds to sleep in.

The intriguing story caught the attention of users online after it was uploaded to TikTok as one person said: ‘One time I was a baby, and the mom didn’t come home until five am the next morning. 

‘She was at a wedding and her phone died.. I was so nervous.’

Another person commented: ‘My own sister did this to me, I didn’t call the cops or anything, but she would be out for two hours* like 10-12 hours late she home lol.’
