The mass Microsoft outage has sparked chaos around the globe, with TV channels being knocked out and banks taken offline.
Amongst the angry masses is Lily Allen, who is not happy after being caught up in the aftermath of the tech meltdown that triggered travel mayhem.
In a now-deleted social media post, the singer, 39, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday to express her frustration at the situation that has left her ‘stuck at Heathrow‘ with ‘no solution’.
She quipped: ‘@British_Airways you totally mismanaged the queues which meant we missed our flight home and now I’m stuck at Heathrow with two kids and no solutions as to how we get on another flight.’
British Airways promptly responded with: ‘Hi Lily. We’re very sorry to hear this. We appreciate this must be frustrating. We’ve replied to your message on Instagram if you wouldn’t mind getting back to us there so that we can look into this for you.’

The IT pandemonium has led to ‘bedlam’ and huge three-hour queues at Gatwick Airport, with holidaymakers struggling to check in.
Meanwhile, at Stansted and Edinburgh airports, lines of queuing passengers have been seen stretching outside the terminals.
Passengers have been left to sizzle in long lines as a mini heatwave brought temperatures of 31C to south-east England, with the day set to be the hottest of the year so far.
It comes as Britain braces for its busiest day for air travel since before the Covid pandemic, with millions of families preparing for their summer breaks, with train and ferry services also affected by the tech blackout.
Lily’s troubles come after her glamorous holiday in Tuscany, where she was soaking up the Italian sun.
The singer took to Instagram on Thursday to share a slew of photos from her gorgeous getaway.
The Smile hitmaker looked to be making the most of her trip as she spent time in Villa Cetinale – a 17th century villa with a world-famous garden.
In one photo, Lily coyly showed off her sensationally tanned figure as she donned a black one-piece swimsuit while relaxing on a chair.

Other snaps saw the star enjoying an evening in the outdoor area of a restaurant, posing for a selfie with a friend, and later grinning as she stretched out on a sun lounger.
It also follows the pop star-turned-actresses newest venture – an OnlyFans account to sell pictures of her feet for just £8 a month.
Lily set up her own account on the social media platform, which is used primarily for people to sell their own adult content, under the title ‘Lily Allen FTSE500’.
Talking about her new project on her BBC Sounds podcast Miss Me?, the singer, who is married to Stranger Things actor David Harbour, lifted the lid on what her first few weeks selling foot content has been like.
The actress revealed: ‘I have been creating foot content for the past week. My toe daddies are very happy with the content that I am supplying. It’s only feet.’
One of the pictures is captioned ‘sole trader,’ and underneath another, she wrote: ‘Just bought these at the airport. Will take them off later.’
Another photo is captioned, ‘summer pedicure,’ while another simply says: ‘Morning.’
Lily, who is mother to daughters Ethel, 12, and Marnie, 11, from her marriage to Sam Cooper, also said husband David thinks her new business endeavor is ‘great.’
She said: He thinks it’s great. At first he was, like, not turned on, but he was like, ‘Is this a kink for you?,’ she said.
‘And I was like, ‘No, it’s totally not a kink’. But maybe there’s something in the power element of it that’s slightly kinky for me.’
She added: ‘I’m having my day in the sun.’
