Family lifetime of Kieran Trippier whose eight-year marriage is ‘on the rocks’
It has been a busy summer for Kieran Trippier after helping England reach the Euro 2024 final.
But during the tournament out in Germany, the Newcastle United captain’s absent wife posted a cryptic message on social media hinting that all was not well.
The ambiguous post on Instagram read: “Sooner or later you get over the s*** you swore you’d never get over and it’s the best feeling in the world.”

Charlotte Trippier, who did not travel to Germany and had reportedly unfollowed the defender on Instagram, added: “The sun is shining. Happy Monday angels.”
And according to The Sun, the marriage is now ‘on the rocks’ – and a source told the publication that things have been ‘rough for a while’. They added: “Kieran wanted to try to resolve matters before the Euros but decided to wait until after.”
Their £3.8million home is reportedly now up for sale – below we take a closer look inside Tripper’s family life.
Who is his wife?
Charlotte, 35, is a glamorous interior designer who has 34,500 followers on Instagram.
The stunning mum-of-three is followed by fellow England WAGs Megan Pickford and Kate Kane and the fashionista’s latest post showed her on holiday holding a glass of wine.

One reply read: “OH WOW!!!! Lends that figure please.”
And despite deciding not to go to the Euros, her page is littered with posts from the sidelines of football matches.
The most recent one was in May for the final Newcastle game of the season and one fan replied: “You and Tripps are the new Posh and Becks. I live for your Insta stories on a matchday even though I’m a season ticket holder, always look forward to watching them when I get home.”
Family Life
According to the Daily Mail, the pair met back in 2014 when Tipper, 33, was employed by Burnley.
Trippier’s life then progressed at rapid speed after signing for Spurs in June 2015 before proposing to Charlotte in the same month.
They married one year later and it wasn’t long before the couple started a family together.
Their son, Jacob, was born in December 2016 before they had a daughter, Esme Rose, in February 2020. They also welcomed a third baby in 2022.
They live in a mansion with six bedrooms in Morpeth, Northumberland, but it was recently advertised as a “new” listing on Sanderson Young.

Trippier has been open about his family life in the past – particularly before his Newcastle team played PSG in the Champions League last season.
Speaking to the media, he said: “I was having banter with him (his son Jacob) last night. He wanted to walk out with him (Mbappe) instead of me, it was something I wasn’t really happy with. He’s always watching his clips on YouTube. I told him, if you walk out with him, don’t look at me in the tunnel.”
Newcastle won the game at St James’ Park 4-1 and the following morning he posted to his 1.5million Instagram followers a picture of his son in an Mbappe top with the caption: “Good morning.”
Trippier – who pockets £130,000 a week – has been married for eight years but has not made a public statement about the current state of his relationship.
