£1,000 Aldi vouchers giveaway to rejoice the Olympics and new sports activities bursary

What better way to celebrate the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games – plus the launch of Aldi’s Sports Bursary – than by giving our readers a chance of winning a share of £1,000 to spend with the official supermarket of Team GB and ParalympicsGB?

Some of their athletes have already enjoyed a helping hand from the discount retailer, with British weightlifter Emily Campbell and para-sprinter Thomas Young both using their local Aldi store in Broughton Astley, Leicester, for some last-minute training.

Ahead of competing at the games in Paris this summer, the pair used heavily-packed shopping bags and even a till conveyor in a bid to get in the best shape possible. The rather unique fitness session comes as the supermarket launches a sports bursary with Team GB and ParalympicsGB.

The Aldi Sports Bursary aims to provide much-needed coaching and funding to local teams, schools and clubs, following research that two in five sports clubs in the UK were in dire need of support

Ten winning sports groups will be selected to receive the unique sports bursary, which includes a ‘money can’t buy’ coaching session at their club led by a TeamGB or ParalympicsGB athlete, a cash prize of £1,500 to buy bespoke equipment and facilities, and Aldi vouchers.

Aldi’s Sports Bursary is open now until July 27. Further details on how to apply and terms and conditions can be found on the Aldi Sports Bursary web page.

We know everyone needs a helping hand at the moment, which is why ten lucky winners could each be walking away with a cool £100 to spend at the discount retailer. That’s enough to buy a whole heap of stuff – from meat and vegetables through to yoghurts and snacks.

There’s so much to savour at Aldi, and it’s safe to say that £100 will go a long way, so what are you waiting for? Enter our competition now – you’ve got to be in it to win it!
