Greggs introduce thrilling new summer season menu gadgets
Pastry lovers and loyal Greggs fans will be delighted to learn that the nation’s favourite high street bakery has new and exciting summer menu items landing in stores this week.
On 25 July, Greggs will be launching a Four Slice Sharing Boxes and brand new Katsu Chicken Slice, which will no doubt please hungry park picnickers.
Customers can get the new menu items from Thursday 25 July in all UK Greggs shops, and through delivery via Just Eat and Uber Eats.
The Chicken Katsu slice – the new addition to the ever expanding family of filled pastries at Greggs – is filled with juicy chicken breast in a Japanese-inspired Katsu style curry sauce and is finished with a spiced top layer of crumb.
For those with a craving for Katsu, they will be able to indulge in the smooth chicken curry from the comfort of a buttery puff pastry pocket.

The soul reviving curry bake will be available to buy from £2.85 when purchased as part of the savoury bake deal.
For those dining together, or for particularly ravenous solo munchers, the new pizza sharing boxes will offer a box of four slices of the much loved cheesy dough.
Customers will be able to choose from Gregg’s selection of pizza favourites including classic Margherita and Pepperoni to Spicy Mexican Chicken.
Pizza fiends won’t be limited to one flavour but will be able two slices of their preferred toppings in the four slice box.
The new four-piece pizza boxes can be snaffled up from £6.50.
Their range also includes classic Margherita and Pepperoni, Spicy Mexican Chicken, fiery Pepperoni Hot Shot, or Spicy Veg.
The famous bakery pizza’s are loved for their gooey focaccia base with each flavour topped in a secret tomato sauce and smothered in a blend of cheeses.

A year ago, Greggs made it possible for customers to buy a Six-Piece Pizza Box sold from £7.99. Now, they have released a four piece Pizza box from £6.50

The new menu items will be available via Click+Collect on the Greggs App, which is free to download.
For every nine purchases in different categories – from hot drinks, to sandwiches to bakes to sweet treats – app users can get one completely free.
As part of a summer promotion, customers will be able to access their ‘Happier Hours’ offer running on the Greggs App until Saturday 10 August.
The deal will mean Greggs App customers can earn double the stamps for all purchases made after 5pm – unlocking rewards up to twice as fast.
All they need to do is to scan the Greggs App to be rewarded with double stamps on all purchases made after 5pm.
New users of the Greggs App also receive a free hot drink of their choice upon registration, as well as a free sweet treat to celebrate their birthday each year.
Each of the new items will be available in shops nationwide, and can also be ordered via Click + Collect through the Greggs App or website, and for delivery via Just Eat or Uber Eats.
The new menu follows the shocking news that a brazen thief have swept the shelves at the chain bakery’s branch in Deptford High Street, Lewisham, South East London, last week.
A video, which has now gone viral, emerged on the social media app, X, where a grey-haired man wearing a black top with white stripes and black tracksuit bottoms was be seen in the video piling products from the hot cabinet into a large laundry bag.
When that has been completely cleared, he then makes his way over to the fridges and starts grabbing at the sandwiches and filled rolls.
At no point do other customers or staff attempt to intercept the shoplifter.
The 16-second clip, filmed by a shocked customer, has already garnered 143,000 views within the first hour of being posted by London and UK Street News.
Met Police said it had not received any report of the incident at the Deptford branch of Greggs.
