Former Harvard hockey coach Katey Stone recordsdata intercourse discrimination go well with

Former Harvard women’s hockey coach Katey Stone filed a sex discrimination lawsuit against the Ivy League school in U.S. District Court in Massachusetts on Tuesday.

In the suit, Stone claims Harvard forced her out last year because of misconduct and hazing allegations, which she denies.

Stone also alleges she faced gender bias and unfair pay from Harvard when at the helm of the women’s hockey program.

After multiple reports surfaced last year that Stone’s program had hazing concerns, she stepped down from the program.

Now, Stone is changing her tone, saying she was forced out and did not willingly resign.

Stone departed Harvard while the school conducted its investigation into the health of the Crimson’s women’s hockey program.

The Athletic reported Stone’s hazing included a ‘mental health Hunger Games’ and a ‘naked skate’ for players.

‘I will no longer stand idly by in the face of inequity and injustice and allow one of the world’s elite universities to continue to hide behind the fraudulent veil of fairness,’ Stone said, per the Boston Globe.

‘The loss of my career, my reputation, my ability to earn a living doing a job I love, is gut-wrenching. The damage has been real and affects me every single day.’

Stone is the fourth-winningest women’s hockey coach in Harvard’s history. She is also the third coach in women’s college hockey history to win 300 games.

Stone has not been hired by another school since the allegations were made public last summer.

Harvard has yet to make any public comment about the lawsuit or Stone since its filing.
