British vacationer, 46, ‘combating for his life’ after falling into creek
A British holidaymaker is understood to be ‘fighting for his life’ after a ‘freak accident’ saw him plummet headfirst into a creek whilst playing with his children.
The 46-year-old is said to be in a ‘serious condition’ and is currently being treated at the Son Espases hospital in Palma.
The father reportedly fell from a 2-foot wall into a creek near a beach close to his hotel on the Majorcan resort of Camp de Mar.
Paramedics hurried to the man’s aid after they were called at around 9pm on Wednesday.
The man was stabilised at the scene following the arrival of police and paramedics, after allegedly taking a hard hit to the head as he toppled.

His children were assessed by the medical crew before returning to their mother, according to The Sun.
It is understood doctors have discovered several bruises and welts on the man’s body.
According to the publication, it is believed the father was playing with his children near a creek before scaling a wall encompassing the water.
Seconds later, he lost his balance and his head struck the rocks.

This comes after a 25-year-old British tourist was left fighting for his life after falling from the third-floor of a Magaluf apartment block.
The man, who was believed to be aged 25, was rushed to hospital with ‘very serious’ injuries to his face and head and is in a ‘critical condition’.
According to Spanish media, the incident occurred in the Majorca party resort at 6am on April 6.
He fell from a flat block known as the Maria Elena building in a street called Federico Garcia Lorca.
The Majorca Daily Bulletin reported that a neighbour at the apartment building called emergency services to report a man lying on the ground who was bleeding heavily.
Despite the injuries, the man was conscious and was taken to Son Espases Hospital in Palma, the Majorcan capital.
