Hawk Tuah lady red-faced after comic’s proposition as followers say he is ‘creepy’
The Hawk Tuah girl was left stunned after comedian Bill Maher pleaded with her to launch a sex-based podcast.
Haliey Welch, 23, appeared on the irreverent comic’s podcast Club Random, where Maher, 68, made his lewd pitch. The meme machine has been a regular on everyone’s news feeds since she made her infamous “spit on that thang” comment during a street interview earlier this summer.
“You need to do a podcast. You do it right here on Club Random if you do it my way,” said Maher. “Sex expert.” Welch laughed nervously throughout the exchange and visibly went red at Maher’s suggestions.

There’s lots of quality news coming out of the US.
Maher, who twirled a cigarette like an inappropriate Mafia boss, added: “You have to trade on what you’re already known for. That’s the one thing you’re known for. It couldn’t be frivolous. You’d have to take it seriously. Could you do that?”
“Possibly,” Welch said without enthusiasm.
“I mean there’s one [issue] related to what made you famous,” said Maher, who hinted at the oral sex reference that catapulted Welch into stardom. “I don’t know where this is going,” said Welch.
“I’ll tell you where this is going,” said Maher, who then pointed at her. “You learned that thing about spitting from porn. The idea of spitting first of all it’s gross. It’s not necessary. It never existed before porn.
“Porn is not benign…It has warped the minds of the kids of your generation, especially the guys.”
In the comment section below the clip posted to Twitter/X, fans were equally as uncomfortable as the Hawk Tuah girl. One person dubbed the comic “creepy”.
“Absolutely disgusting,” another person wrote. “This is so awkward. What a weirdo,” another commenter added.
One simply chimed: “Maher is a creep”.
Maher wasn’t all weird-uncle-at-a-wedding vibes, at one point offering Welch some genuinely sincere life advice about “making the most” of her twenties.
