Police launch manhunt for homicide suspect after girl stabbed to demise
Police have launched a manhunt for a murder suspect after a woman in her 20s was stabbed to death in broad daylight in Ipswich.
Emergency services were called to Burrell Road shortly after 7.10pm today following reports that a woman had been stabbed.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim with serious injuries. She was treated at the scene, but despite treatment died shortly afterwards.
There is a police cordon at the scene and the road is closed to traffic at both ends.
No arrests have been made at this time, but police believe the victim and her attacker were known to each other, Ipswich.co.uk reported.

Detective Chief Inspector Tam Burgess said: ‘Emergency services, including a number of police resources, were deployed to the scene and those in the area will continue to see an increased police presence throughout tonight and the coming days.
‘A murder investigation has been launched and we are in the early stages of our enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident, however it is believed the parties are known to each other.
‘We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information, no matter how small you may feel it is.’
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash camera, CCTV or doorbell footage that may be useful to investigators is urged to contact police.
