Two pundits substitute Ian Wright on BBC Match of the Day after legend’s exit
The BBC have revealed the two pundits who will replace Arsenal legend Ian Wright on Match of the Day .
The 60-year-old former striker announced his departure in December last year, more than 25 years after he made his debut on the iconic show.
Best known for his time playing for Crystal Palace and the Gunners, he left Arsenal having scored 185 goals – a club record later surpassed by Thierry Henry.

‘Wrighty’ is now a household name, from making his TV debut while he was still playing in 1997 to appearing on ITV’s hit reality show I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here back in 2019.
But with the new Premier League season getting underway this week, the BBC have now revealed two stars that will be trying to follow in his footsteps on the weekly highlights show.
