Mum who had threesome with two schoolboys in her son’s bed room was ‘obsessed’

A woman who had an “obsession for sex with young boys” has been sentenced to prison after engaging in sexual activities with two 13-year-old boys in her son’s bedroom.

Natalie Harris was handed a four-year jail term after confessing to four counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child. She broke down in tears as she received her sentence for the incidents that happened in Waterlooville in November 2022.

Initially, the boys denied any involvement until one of them confided in their mother and revealed that he had filmed the incident. The mother of one of the boys told Portsmouth Crown Court that Harris had “taken away his childhood”.

The judge described Harris as having a “total disregard of any moral compass” and issued her with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and a restraining order, both lasting 10 years.

The court was informed that the boys arrived at Harris’ property where they engaged in sexual activities for approximately 40 minutes before leaving prior to her own son’s return home. Harris had sent explicit messages to one of the boys on Snapchat before inviting them over, reports the Mirror.

Pleading with the boys to remain silent, Portsmouth Crown Court heard Harris warned one of the boys he “shouldn’t tell anyone” out of fear of being imprisoned.

The woman was apprehended following the circulation of a video of the incident around a school, with her hand tattoos leading to her identification. Initially, Harris claimed she had “no knowledge” of the woman in the footage upon her arrest.

However, when police seized the 36-year-old’s phone, they discovered a series of messages between her and one of the boys, who had saved her contact as ‘Rachel’.

Prosecutor Matthew Lawson revealed the case emerged in January last year. He said: “There was a video that had been circulating around the school both boys attended. The police got a call from a concerned parent which showed an adult female engaging in sexual activity with a boy.”

Lawson also disclosed the boy who brought forward the video claimed Harris had started communicating with him via Snapchat and text in November 2022. He stated: “He said the messages became sexual and invited both boys to go to her house. It was clear to both boys they were going there for sex.”

In a victim impact statement, the mother of the boy who reported the incident described her son’s experience as a “nightmare”, noting that she has watched him “fade away”.

She said: “My heart just breaks, I couldn’t have imagined this happening to my son – he is a child. Natalie has completely turned our family upside down.

“The worst thing about all of this is she has taken away his childhood and I will never forgive her. He will never get back the childhood that has been taken from him. This will stay with us now for the rest of our lives.”

The court heard Harris had been experiencing a “manic episode”. Since the incident, she has received diagnoses for bipolar and multiple personality disorder. In her defence, criminal barrister Berenice Mulvanny explained Harris had been “triggered” by a recent break-up.

Judge Sarah Munro KC observed that Harris had responded to the break up in a “dramatic way”. “In your behaviour you became extremely promiscuous,” stated the judge, noting that Harris had developed an “obsession” with “sex with young boys”.

The judge further commented that Harris felt “unloved” and sought attention in inappropriate ways. “In your desire for attention, you gave no consideration on the long-term detrimental impact on these young boys,” she said. “There was significant planning and grooming behaviour used by you, a serious abuse of trust and a very significant disparity in age.

“The boy described how you started to send him messages and invited him to your home. You took them to your son’s bedroom and engaged in sexual activity with both boys. They left because it was time for your son to come home from school.”
