Billionaire Mike Lynch and his daughter confirmed useless after superyacht catastrophe
Two bodies found in the wreckage of the sunken Bayesian yacht have been confirmed as those of Mike Lynch and his teenage daughter Hannah.
Mike Lynch, 59, was travelling with his wife and 18-year-old daughter on the superyacht which was battered during intense storms off the coast of Palermo, Italy in the early hours of Monday. Mr Lynch’s wife, Angela Bacares, survived.
The vessel was carrying 22 passengers and crew and was anchored off the port of Porticello when it capsized during the fierce storm.

Four bodies were found earlier this afternoon, with two taken to shore in body bags by rescue teams, it has been reported.
According to reports in Italian media, the two bodies found earlier inside the boat were located behind two mattresses. They were the second and third victims to be found, after chef Recaldo Thomas was recovered from the water on Monday.
Rescuers had been looking for six people who went missing when the ship went down, namely Lynch and his daughter, as well as Jonathan Bloomer, the chairman of Morgan Stanley Bank International and his wife Judye Bloomer and Clifford Chance partner Chris Morvillo and his wife Neda Morvillo.
The news means there are now three people confirmed dead in the horror sinking. Another body earlier recovered at the scene of the sinking on Monday, belonged to Canadian-Antiguan national Recaldo Thomas, who was working on the Bayesian superyacht.
Gareth Williams, a friend of the chef, told the BBC : “I can talk for everyone that knew him when I say he was a well-loved, kind human being with a calm spirit.”
Another friend, Eli Fuller, told the outlet Mr Thomas was “friends with everybody”, “always positive” and “sought after” in his profession.
