And with Helen being a trailblazer for women in football broadcasting and Tim a national treasure, their departure left a nation in mourning.

But now the pair have reunited and are bringing back the trademark chemistry, humour and footy chat their fans know and love for a brand-new project.

Soccer A-Z is the football podcast fans have been waiting for, and each episode tackles a variety of football-related challenges and triumphs, as decided by the letter of the week.

The podcast wont just endlessly discuss clubs, the players and the money – as producers have vowed to keep fans in mind every step of the way.

People travelling down memory lane are in for a treat too there will be familiar faces to discuss the latest happenings in the football world.

It will also give fans a chance to test themselves against some of the greatest footballing minds with a weekly quiz.

While the podcast has been modernised – there will be no more Soccerette – Soccer A-Z promises to bring back the cherished spirit of their beloved show.
