Creamfields sleepless ‘chaos’ has ‘women screaming’ as wind ‘snaps tents’
Hardy British festival goers are putting on a brave face and cracking on in the face of heavy winds causing “chaos”.
Creamfields Festival in Daresbury, Cheshire has a reputation for thumping electronic music, but at this year’s event the heaviest thing on show is the wind. This comes according to testimony obtained by The Daily Star from a man who took footage of the windswept campsite.
The man, who goes by JK on X, posted a clip of the havoc, saying: “Chaos at Creamfields this morning as the storm hits tents snapped, girls screaming, and a rogue dinosaur on the loose. This was taken at 6:20 by the way.”

In footage posted on the social media platform by JK, a grey sky looms over the flapping tents, some of which seem to have in part given up and begun to collapse.
In the distance, true to his word, an inflatable dinosaur runs up a path, adding towards the end of day’s atmosphere.
He chatted with the Daily Star about what he had experienced but was keen to make clear that despite the gusty conditions he was still having a top time.
JK explained: “So far the festival has been fun, the silent disco was great last night. But got home and were unable to sleep with the winds battering our tents.
“[I] woke up at 6 to find tents snapped and collapsed, metal pegs bent beyond belief. But spirits still high in the campsite, everyone’s still got a smile on their face. Just embracing the British weather!”
