Nicolas Jackson calls out Premier League icon on social media after Wolves objective

Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson unleashed a blistering tirade against club legend John Obi Mikel in an explosive, expletive-laden social media outburst.

The Senegalese forward netted the first goal within 93 seconds and bagged an assist as the Blues demolished Wolves with a 6-2 thrashing, handing Enzo Maresca a smashing home debut win as boss.

Despite his on-pitch heroics, the 23-year-old was fuming over remarks made by ex-Blue Mikel, who boasts three Premier League crowns and a Champions League triumph from his 11 years at Stamford Bridge.

Taking to Instagram, Jackson didn’t hold back, tagging Mikel directly: “@john_mikel_obi shut your mouth don’t talk s***, we are killing ourselves for Africa,” he blasted.

This incendiary post surfaced mere hours after teammate Noni Madueke had to say sorry for branding Wolverhampton “s***”, sparking worries about the players’ online conduct, reports the Express.

John Obi Mikel had slammed Nicolas Jackson’s goalscoring record

Mikel, now dishing out analysis for beIN Sports, had previously slated Jackson for squandering chances during Chelsea’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City, notably fluffing a close-range shot and botching another opportunity after a dazzling run.

Mikel, 37, didn’t mince his words when he critiqued Jackson’s performance and hinted that the club might need to splash the cash again for a top-notch striker, with rumours swirling about Victor Osimhen joining the high-rolling west London squad.

“You need to have a striker who knows how to hit a ball in the back of the net and that’s what we don’t have,” Mikel confessed to beIN Sports. “I know I talk so much about him [Jackson] and sometimes I sound like I disrespect him, but I don’t disrespect him.”
