Victoria star Nell Hudson flees theatre after recognizing her attacker

Actress Nell Hudson recently told me she was penning a tell-all movie memoir in which she promises to expose ‘the good and the bad’ of the acting industry.

Yet, even before the book has been published, the Victoria star, pictured right, has relived the horror of encountering the man she claims sexually assaulted her.

The Worcester-born actress, 33, says she was forced to walk out of a West End play during the intermission, after discovering the actor, whose name she hasn’t made public, was starring in the production.

‘The other night I went to the theatre and left at the interval. A man who had sexually assaulted me was starring in the play,’ reveals the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Outlander star, who adds that she had no idea the man was even in the production until he walked out on stage.

‘Sitting in the same room as him – me knowing what he had done, him not knowing I was there – was a surreal experience.

‘Leaving felt a bit like defeat, but I didn’t want to stay either,’ she adds.

On the night in question, she had the support of her then TV producer boyfriend Maximillian King, who is now her fiance.

‘The whole way home from the theatre, my boyfriend and I talked about what we/I should do.

‘Should I report it now, all these years later? Should I write to this man and tell him of the damage he did, hoping he will be able to listen, apologise, and never do the same thing to anyone else,’ she writes in her Substack blog.

‘I talked about helping other women. I mention Women’s Aid – a charity to which I donate regularly, for women and children escaping domestic abuse.

‘Is this my own reverse form of hush money? In order to avoid the hellish ordeal of going to the so-called ‘authorities’, am I paying to silence myself?’

Nell, whose novelist mother Cressida Connolly was the first wife of late writer A. A. Gill, admits the shame that often comes with victimhood has forced her to remain silent on the alleged assault.

‘Prejudice insinuates that no man would want to rape them. Are you a plausible victim? Are you a likeable victim? Are you pretty enough to be a victim?’

A representative for Nell was unavailable for comment.

Princess Beatrice‘s favourite nutritionist, Gabriela Peacock, has announced she is expecting her fourth child with her hedge fund manager husband David Peacock.

The former Czech model, 45, counts Dame Joan Collins, Jodie Kidd and pop star Ellie Goulding among her clients and revealed the pregnancy in this picture.

Gabriela, who helped Beatrice ‘feel her best’ ahead of the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, has previously advised women against over-indulging on food cravings in their pregnancy.

She says: ‘It’s important to be relaxed and enjoy this time, but be mindful that this is not an excuse to just eat Haribo and drink Fanta. It’s not going to be beneficial for you or the baby.’

A top auctioneer and chairman of Sotheby’s, the Earl of Rosebery, 56, has access to the finest assortment of art, but it is his 36-year-old wife Harriet Clapham, a savvy Old Masters adviser, who picks what artworks they invest in.

‘I leave it to her, as she’s an art adviser and works with private clients to build their collections,’ he tells me.

Rosebery, who recently inherited the magnificent stately home Dalmeny House near Edinburgh, adds of his job: ‘I simply whack a gavel and charge your commissions.’

All eyes were on rock ‘n’ roll royalty when Tyrone Wood, the son of Rolling Stone guitarist Ronnie Wood, married Faye Harris, the daughter of headbanger Steve Harris – bass player with Iron Maiden, last month. However, I hear that Steve, 68, received attention for the wrong reasons due to his sartorial choice at the intimate ceremony which took place at Marylebone Old Town Hall in London. ‘I got a bit of a slagging off for wearing a dodgy suit,’ the rocker reveals. ‘I got a bit of ribbing about it, especially from some of my mates and some other people as well.

‘I thought it was all good fun,’ he adds. ‘I don’t normally wear suits anyway, so it doesn’t really matter.’

I’ve been around the music biz: Lisa’s tip for new talent

Soul singer Lisa Stansfield shot to stardom when she won a recording contract on the reality TV singing competition Search For A Star in 1980.

Having now been in the industry for four decades, the Rochdale-born singer is urging her younger counterparts to think twice before signing on the dotted line in such music deals. ‘They shouldn’t rush into it,’ she tells me. ‘Those contracts are very tempting when you’re really hungry.’ She adds: ‘I did the same when I was very young, and I really regret it.’

The All Around The World hitmaker, 58, who once hit an industry professional across the head after he squeezed her bottom when she was just 15, says it was hard to speak out back then. ‘There’s a lot going on now that protects people, not like when I was young. If someone did something wrong you couldn’t tell anyone.’

Schiffer is still looking super at 54

Claudia Schiffer is determined to prove that she would still look good in her birthday suit.

The model marked her 54th birthday by sharing a video online of her posing in a two-piece while on holiday in Greece.

In the footage, Claudia, who has three children with her husband of 22 years, British film director Matthew Vaughn, posed in a white bikini and sunglasses.

Ms Schiffer has previously mused: ‘I think age should be celebrated and revered. There’s a reason we have cakes and parties on our birthdays, and I feel the same way about getting older each year.’

Comic Frank Skinner enjoys the perks of being famous.

‘I’ve never understood these celebrities who moan about being stopped in the street,’ says Skinner.

‘When I’m in a foreign country and not being recognised, it’s breaking my heart,’ he wails.
