Blokes in nose-diving aircraft snapped wanting jaded after plane crashes on highway
A pilot and their passenger had the shock of their lives when their light aircraft crashed smack-dab onto a bustling road, narrowly avoiding catastrophe.
The small aircraft belly-flopped on the A419 in Gloucestershire, where emergency responders, including the Great Western Air Ambulance, raced to the scene after getting calls around 4.45pm on Tuesday.
Near Aston Down Airfield located in Frampton Mansell, situated between Cirencester and Stroud, the incident unfolded. An eyewitness claimed the aircraft “looked like it stalled and nose dived into the main road”.

Thankfully, the occupants walked away with no serious injuries, allowing the air ambulance to be waved off shortly after its arrival.
Snaps of the crash were taken by Mila Vukelic. Gloucestershire Police have issued a statement: “Motorists are advised that road closures are in place while emergency services are in attendance. There were two occupants on board who will be assessed by the ambulance service, and it is understood that no other vehicles were involved.”
Authorities have put roadblocks up in both directions.
It follows a similar incident in Abergavenny, Wales, that ended with a fireball.
A small plane with three family members on board crash landed on a dual carriageway and burst into flames.
Jack Moore, 19, and sister Billie Manley, 16, were flying to watch Cardiff City play Manchester United with pilot uncle Stuart Moore on May 12, 2019 when the incident occurred.
The engine began to fail and Moore attempted a crash landing, but clipped trees along the road before the plane hit the ground.
The crash caused the plane doors to become jammed and all three occupants were trapped inside of the fiery wreckage.
A bystander who rushed to help and one of the passengers managed to break a window, and the bystander pulled the three occupants out one by one.
They were then able to run away from the raging fire, having suffered only minor injuries.
