Horrific Oregon airplane crash reveals second plane flies into house
A small plane crashed into an Oregon neighborhood setting homes ablaze and leaving thousands without power.
The aircraft fell out of the sky on Saturday morning into a Fairview residential neighborhood, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said.
Video posted on social media shows plumes of smoke rising over the area as flames shoot out from the homes.
The FAA told DailyMail.com a twin-engine Cessna 421C crashed near Troutdale Airport in Oregon around 10:30 am PT.
It is unknown how many people were on board and if there are any injuries.
‘Port of Portland Fire has sent a crash vehicle and battalion chief for support at the scene, and the Gresham Fire Department is the agency in charge,’ The Port of Portland said in a statement shared with KATU.

The Cessna 421C, also known as the Golden Eagle, is a twin-engine plane that requires one pilot and can seat up to six passengers, according to Aircraft Cost Calculator. The average price of the aircraft is $466,237.79.
On Tuesday, two people died and one person was injured after a Delta airplane tire exploded while it was being changed at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Mirko Marweg, 58, and Luis Aldarondo, 37, were killed while wheel components were being disassembled for maintenance at Delta’s TechOps Tire and Maintenance facility.

Marweg’s son Andre Coleman told Atlanta’s news station that his father’s body was left unrecognizable – and family was forced to rely on Marweg’s tattoos and a Mississippi State lanyard to identify him.
Marweg, who lived in Stone Mountain, Georgia, worked for Delta for more than 20 years and was planning to retire in a few months, according to 11Alive.
Aldarondo, on his part, had a young son and daughter with his wife Sonia, and is close with his mother Juliet Perez.
Delta said previously the wheel parts that were being disassembled when the explosion occurred were not attached to a plane at the time.
The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration said it opened an investigation. The cause of the explosion has not been released.
