Baby P’s twisted mom hauled again to jail after breaching licence situations

The twisted mother of Baby P has been hauled back to prison for breaching licence conditions, just two years after being released, according to reports.

MailOnline reported that Tracey Connelly could have scuppered her chances of a life outside prison after an unspecified breach of terms imposed on her after was convicted of causing or allowing the death of her son and jailed in 2009, two years after the child was discovered badly injured at her home in Tottenham.

She was last released from prison in July 2022. More than 20 licence conditions were imposed as a condition of her release, which included living at a specified address, wearing an electronic tag, adhering to a curfew and having to disclose her relationships.

The publication added that it understands that as Connelly is serving a life sentence, it will be a matter for the Parole Board to decide when she is released again.

Baby P, later to be known as Peter, suffered months of torture at the hands of Connelly, her partner Steven Barker and his brother Jason Owen before he died in 2007.

Connelly had allowed her son to be tortured to death by her boyfriend, and an inquiry found he suffered more than 50 injuries and had been visited 60 times by the authorities in the eight months before.
